We have to re-locate to Tanzania and cannot take her with us. She is a loving boisterous energetic teenager who would do well with a family who enjoy the outdoors, already showing signs of being very protective. She lives with a wirehair terrier, but is a bit of a bully and very rough with him. She needs lots of love and space to run. She is a bit too rough for young children, but loves them. I am willing to bring her to SOuth AFrica, anywhere within reason from Polokwane to Johannesburg. Francistown, Francistown Botswana

Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs can make good pets in Botswana if they match your IifestyIe. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a fierce hunter that also makes a loyal family pet. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very smart and obedient with firm training. Rhodesian Ridgebacks do not like to be teased by children. Ridgebacks need to be thoroughly socialized with other pets and humans, and may be dog aggressive. Ridgebacks can live in an apartment but these dogs are very energetic and need lots of daily exercise. This is an excellent dog to take jogging.
