Maynard is a great dog. He is well behaved and listens well. He has seizures and is on medication which works good but he still occasionally has one. We have a crawling baby and can't risk him having one around the baby.

Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a fierce hunter that also makes a loyal family pet. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very smart and obedient with firm training. Rhodesian Ridgebacks do not like to be teased by children. Ridgebacks need to be thoroughly socialized with other pets and humans, and may be dog aggressive. Ridgebacks can live in an apartment but these dogs are very energetic and need lots of daily exercise. This is an excellent dog to take jogging.
