Meet Little Ann, a RR/Mountain Curr mix. She is being kept in a small 10x10 fence with almost no human contact and no exercise. She is in excellent health and despite the lack of love shown her, she is one of the sweetest dogs i have ever seen. I have 2 of my own or i would take her, no question. This is a beautiful 1 year month old Labrador Retriever/Shepherd Mix with a unique wavy coast down the middle of his back. He probably has some Rhodesian Ridgeback in him as well. He gets along great with kids and other dogs of all sizes. Rusty likes attention and would love you back so much for just a little love from you. Rusty is very low maintenance, he does not get into things he shouldn't, not destructive or hyper. He just wants a doggy playmate and some love and hugs from his human owner. She is very mild mannered, but very intelligent, strong, and has done well with two adults (male/female), and two other rescues in our home. FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED: JJ is 1 of 3 'project' dogs currently in boarding. They have 'issues' that need time and patience and someone dog-savvy to help them. These are the most in need ones. Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a fierce hunter that also makes a loyal family pet. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very smart and obedient with firm training. Rhodesian Ridgebacks do not like to be teased by children. Ridgebacks need to be thoroughly socialized with other pets and humans, and may be dog aggressive. Ridgebacks can live in an apartment but these dogs are very energetic and need lots of daily exercise. This is an excellent dog to take jogging.
