Rhodesian Ridgeback    Age: Young Adult

He loves everyone & everything, just wants to play. Has crate, toys, blanket, food bowl, vet records, microchip. He's crate trained. I don't know if I should say he's house trained or mostly house trained because we've missed him telling us he has to go out. He's very subtle about it but there's been very few accidents. The only thing he doesn't have is a water bowl. He sleeps with me & goes everywhere with me unless it's a dr appt or I'm going to be in a store for a while. I have more pictures of him. The one posted is from a little while ago. He's no longer in an e-collar, it was just a good picture of his face. We absolutely love him!!! ... (Read More)He is a rescue from a shelter. He was admitted there as a stray & was severely emaciated. He's still underweight but so much better than he was. We've been working on getting him where he needs to be. The shelter said he's 2.7 yrs old but I think he's younger. He does have a bad case of happy tail syndrome, yes it's a real thing. He's beautiful, loving, fun & loyal. He's good on a leash. He knows no, go to bed, get out of there & other commands but he can be stubborn about them. He's very smart & learns quick. He wasn't on my list of dogs to see at the shelter but as I was waiting, we played through a viewing window. Long story short, I fell in love with him. I was going to train him for my service dog but he isn't going to be able to train for my physical needs. He's great for emotional support. If I had a house, I'd keep him but where I am, we can only have 3. He really is an amazing dog. It's going to be very hard on all of us, including him,to do this. ***I originally had the fee set to go to rescue me. My truck broke down & I'm the transportation for my kids to/from school & work, appts, etc. I'm also depended on by others. I don't have the money to fix it right now. (Less)
