My name is Minnie and I am looking for a family. I am a ridge back mix that is about 4 years old and I weigh about 50 pounds. I am full grown and will not get any bigger unless I get fat and lets hope that never happens. I am looking for a laid back family that will love me and love the fact that I just want to hang out get belly rubs, ear scratches and treats. Yes I know that is what will make me fat but I admit it treats are my weakness. I am great with other dogs and perfect with children of all sizes. I would prefer a family with no cats. They are so annoying. I am house broken and I haven't needed a crate in years. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, spay and I have a micro chip. Now I just needs you guys. Can't you just picture us snuggled in front of the tv with pop corn? (Less)

Buster is an amazing family dog who is happy inside or outside, though he prefers to be near his family. He is highly intelligent and still learns new things. He is about 45 pounds and thinks he is a lap dog, but only when invited to hop up. He can do all of the normal god tricks and will perform all of them simultaneously when he is getting a treat. He is great with kids and adults and guards the ones he loves. He has never bitten anyone, and is an even tempered boy. He will let people know that he is there and sound all big and bad, all while wagging his tail. If you introduce him to new dogs and people after a little bit he is accepting of anyone, but that is how people are too. He was fantastic as a guard for chickens and kept the kritters away when he was outside. Please give my best buddy a great new home. (Less)

Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a fierce hunter that also makes a loyal family pet. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very smart and obedient with firm training. Rhodesian Ridgebacks do not like to be teased by children. Ridgebacks need to be thoroughly socialized with other pets and humans, and may be dog aggressive. Ridgebacks can live in an apartment but these dogs are very energetic and need lots of daily exercise. This is an excellent dog to take jogging.
