Ruby is approx 4 yrs old. We got her from the SPCA in Bartlesville, she has had her shots and spaded. She is very large in size and is an inside dog. She loves to run outside and play. She is loving and a protector. She would do well with an individual or a family with older children. She is beautiful inside and out. The best dog ever Do to circumstances, we don't have the home to keep her anymore. Temperament: Rhodesian Ridgebacks are loyal and intelligent and somewhat aloof to strangers. Rhodesian Ridgeback Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a fierce hunter that also makes a loyal family pet. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are very smart and obedient with firm training. Rhodesian Ridgebacks do not like to be teased by children. Ridgebacks need to be thoroughly socialized with other pets and humans, and may be dog aggressive. Ridgebacks can live in an apartment but these dogs are very energetic and need lots of daily exercise. This is an excellent dog to take jogging.
